A Music Journey

Bobby C grew up in Mount Vernon & Yonkers, New York surrounded by musical family and friends.

He began playing alto saxophone at age eight followed by clarinet, tenor & baritone saxophones,

flute, acoustic, electric, & bass guitars, piano and tried his hand at many other instruments.

At fourteen years old, Bobby earned his first dollar performing alto saxophone on a gig

in the Arthur Avenue Italian section of The Bronx with musicians from his Yonkers neighborhood.

Thereafter, Bobby discovered his vocal ability and became a lead singer and saxman

in his own rock and roll band performing regularly during high school and his early college years

within the metro area of Westchester County, Long Island, and New York City.

While attending Berklee College of Music in Boston,

Bobby not only sharpened his arranging & saxophone skills at school,

he also performed in many local bands within Greater Boston and Cape Cod.

In 2007...Bobby joined a well established seven-piece dance party band performing

Doo Wop, Motown & Soul, and Disco from Philadelphia to The Wildwoods at the South Jersey Shore.

He contributed lead and back-up vocals while blowing alto, tenor, & baritone saxophones

next to a trumpet man; the two would affectionately be known as 'LA Horns'.

In January of 2012, with the help of his co-producer John,

Bobby launched his own multi-level home recording studio

named after the audio term 'Wild Sound'

defined as "where the acoustics of the room add realism to the environment"

thus, "Wild Sound Studios".

During 2014...Bobby was "frontman" lead vocalist and saxophonist

in a top Atlantic City based Classic Rock Dance Band rocking the town's casinos

and down the Jersey Shore coast thru Ventnor, Ocean City, and Wildwood.

After the 'private' release of his 3rd CD "Songs For You",

Bobby commented, "Song selection is the first step before walking into the recording studio.

I have to 'like' the song and it must be the right 'fit'.

Making it 'my own' and not sounding like a 'cover band' is most important, otherwise, it gets put on the shelf".

Bobby continues to co-produce music with his long time friend, brother from another mother,

multi talentent instumentalist, Four-Time Emmy Winning Sound Designer,

and founder of Wonderland Sound in New York,  "John".

To quote Bobby...

"John and I make records in a rather unconventional fashion...

We are never in the same room playing and laying down our tracks...

It's actually an accepted manner of recording within the industry these days...

It's so very cool and John is a wizard mixing our tracks".

While recording "The Live Adventures Of Wild & Wiggy" in 2012,

Bobby's multi-talented descendant Adryan, made a debut on violin in the 'Cheer Down' production.

A connection with Bobby's childhood friend and keyboardist was made when The Mighty Lou began laying tracks down for the studio's second CD "WW II" in 2013 at Banrock Studios in New York mastered by his son John.

Since then, Lou has made contributions on "Songs For You" and the studio's latest CD "Turn The Page".

Bobby and John met Barry in 'band camp' at Wagner College on Staten Island, New York in fall of 1969.

Barry was invited to join in on a couple of productions in 2016,

and contributed some beautiful soprano saxophone tracks

via his own recording studio in the Boston area.

Barry is a saxophonist playing tenor and soprano.

He was also classically trained on clarinet and has played in community orchestras

in Staten Island and Westchester County and also founded of The Noteworthy Jazz Ensemble.

He has played with 'King of Clubs'

and currently plays jazz, R&B, gospel, and rock with several ensembles including 'The Champney Street'.

In addition to the ‘Wild Sound Studios Players’,

Annechiarico has recorded with folk singers & rock bands and for commercials & corporate videos.

Bobby successfully recruited a longtime friend, professional performer and recording session man,

"Hank" to join in on the opening track of "Turn The Page"

with his incredible trombone engineered by his son Sawyer in their Cape Cod recording studio.

Hank has casually mentioned in the quite humble manner of his past personal  and professional experiences

with the likes of Roy Orbison, Waylon Jennings, Bobby Blue Bland, and former Eagle Randy Meisner to mention a few.

Hank was also a member of the prestigious 'Memphis Horns'

During our 2020 Lock-Down...

Bobby was exited his cousin Jack joined in with electric Roland drums

on the production of "All Things Must Pass"

In the spring of 2021

Bobby stepped out of the spotlight and put live performing on the back burner

to dedicate time and energy on his virtual band 'The Midnight Rockers'

and continue to produce and co-produce music in  Wild Sound Studios

Summer 2022...

Bobby is up front singing with Love Affair Band

in Wildwood's new amphitheater by the South Jersey Shore...

Fall 2022...

New Years Eve...

"On to the next chapter...

The beautiful thing about music...

It can take you on a new adventure every time you pick up an instrument or microphone

Contemplating a self-producing an 'unplugged album'

Still on the drawing board!

Keep On Rockin"
